About Us

The 1st Melton Constable Guide unit is part the Felbrigg district based in the county of Norfolk County which is the Anglian region.  We meet every Thursday evening during term time and welcome girls into the unit from the age of 10.

Guides is not just another 'youth club', whilst Guides are having fun they are also:

  • Finding and developing their talents.
  • Learning how to get on with all types of people.
  • Learning to work as part of a team and have an opportunity to practise leadership skills.
  • They learn new skills, from cooking to first aid.
  • Help the community, face challenges and learn to tackle and overcome them.

Guides stay with us until they are 14, at this time most girls are encouraged to move to the Senior Section (Rangers/Young Leaders) of Guiding, but they are welcome to stay for longer if they wish.  For more information on Guides please visit our pages For Parents and Being a Guide.
